My name is Pete Minstrel. I grew up in the UK, but reside in Canada. I was hooked on electronic music from a young age, and always thought and dreamed in sound, rhythm, and beats. I uncovered my passion for music with an old skool Casio keyboard my mom got for Christmas way back in the 80s. From that point on, I was involved in choir, song writing and pretty much trying to play whatever I could get my hands on.. By my teens I'd settled on turn tables as my go to and ever since I've been creating my own soundtrack to life.
Live Life by Following Your Dreams
I followed my dream to the next level over the last few years. Studying Music Production and Audio Engineering to really push my boundaries and develop my sound. I graduated from college in California with a degree in music production and sound design and Sound Engineering. I write my own lyrics and scores. And continually produce songs in my home studio. I love collaborating with other artists and experimenting with different genres of music.

I find inspiration all around me. I try to make my music representative of myself and every generation. Music is the soundtrack to our every day lives. And whether its helping with your projects, or completing mine... Im inspired to envision the sound of the future.
